CBD is short for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is the second most prevalent cannabinoid of the active ingredients found in the marijuana plant. CBD oil is derived directly from the hemp plant, yet unlike the first most prevalent cannabinoid THC it doesn't create a "high"
CBD Oil is available in three different types: Full spectrum CBD, Broad spectrum and CBD isolate. Whilst CBD isolate solely contains the cannabinoid CBD and has no trace of other cannabinoids, broad spectrum and full spectrum contain other natural elements and cannabinoids of the hemp plant. The difference between full spectrum and broad spectrum is that the cannabinoid THC is excluded in broad spectrum CBD, whilst full spectrum CBD can contain THC. However, this is always less than 0.3%, so there will be absolutely no psychoactive effects.
